About Bill
With over twenty years experience fly fishing the California coast, Bill is a professional fly tier and fly fishing instructor for both fresh and salt water. He is also a Federation of Fly Fishers certified fly casting instructor and a Sage endorsed spey casting instructor. Bill holds a U.S. Coast Guard captain's license #1165923.
Formerly, Bill was a manager at Bob Marriott's Fly Fishing Store in Fullerton, California. The seven years he spent working at Marriott's was instrumental in his development as a knowledgeable and understanding fly fisherman. Since leaving Marriott's, he has built a trusted business and solid reputation as a saltwater fly fishing guide.

Bill uses nothing but the finest rods, reels, leaders, and custom flies. He believes that opportunities are won by those who are prepared and that's why you'll be provided with the best equipment money has to offer. All tackle is organized and ready to go before you're met at the dock. Nothing is left to chance other than the fishes' cooperation.
Bill's boat is a 22' Sea Pro deep V center console powered by a quiet four stroke 225HP Yamaha. Equipped with a remote controlled Minn Kota trolling motor, "Flybox" can be maneuvered tight to targets from anywhere on the deck. The center console also provides a small enclosed head.
