For a more serene environment discover the calm waters of Newport Harbor and the local back bays. Here you will enjoy the hard fighting spotted bay bass, sand bass, halibut, yellowfin croaker, spotfin croaker, corbina and sargo. You'll be casting six to eight weight outfits with small streamers in between docks and pilings or over shallow water drop offs, small beaches and grassy flats. Upon request you can take a break from the action and dock the boat to one of the many famous bayside restaurants that surround the harbors. Newport Harbor is just five miles or ten minutes from the Orange County, John Wayne (SNA) airport.
